Smart Practice: Qualitouch L/R Gloves

February 1, 2018

When it comes to disposable gloves most practitioners choose the cheapest bulk gloves that can be found. Why not? They’re disposable and there’s no point to spending a penny more than need be. Right? Wrong. For dentistry, minor stresses on our hands and body are exponentially multiplied throughout the hours, days, weeks and years of repetitive practice. I dare any busy practitioner to try these L/R gloves for one week and then attempt to go back to the regular ambidextrous gloves. The amount of hand fatigue exerted on ambidextrous gloves are rarely noticed until you consistently use left and right hand specific gloves. At $10.99/box for 45 pairs, these Qualitouch gloves are likely to be more expensive than your bulk buy gloves; however, the value here is in the extreme comfort and significant decrease in hand fatigue. I intend to practice for 3-4 decades and undoubtedly this product will help me do just that!
