OnPharma Onset Mixing Pen

Dental anesthetic has an acidic pH close to that of a lemon. Imagine squirting lemon juice in your eye. This is what a patient feels during an injection! We can now neutralize the pH by using the OnPharma buffering system prior to injection.

The buffered carpule allows for a more comfortable injection, rapid onset within two minutes, and a better patient experience. Dentists can begin the procedure without wasting chair time and with less difficulty in obtaining profound anesthesia.

The OnPharma system is used chairside prior to injection, performed by my dental assistant while the topical is in place and I am visiting with the patient. It does not add time to the procedure. In fact, we are ready to put a bit on the tooth very quickly! The cost to buffer appeared to be too much at first, but chair time saved and patient comfort made this a practice builder.
