DrQuickLook PDA

DrQuickLook PDA personal dental assistant is an intraoral camera and tablet combination used for patient education, intraoral images, and consent forms.

This product was developed by a dentist, to be used by the operators to replace several separate technologies traditionally purchased to get patients to say YES! This tablet can be held in front of the patient to take the portrait image and then used to take the intraoral images. After problems are detected, patients can view an education video about the procedure they need. If the patient wants same-day dentistry, the consent forms, in English and Spanish, are also available on the tablet. And after completing the procedure, the patient can view the post-op video.

The PDA can be used with different practice management systems, and images can be transferred to store in the patient’s chart or to be emailed.

Cost is around $2,100. The patient education package is $300 if added at time of purchase or $600 if added later.

This is a great value and will pay for itself in increased patient acceptance and a decrease in liability with informed consent. It is a nice, professionally done presentation. You cannot customize the presentations or add to the content, but it contains a good selection of general and cosmetic dentistry information.
